Consolidated Custom Reporting

As an investor's wealth grows, so does the complexity of managing their estate. Investors need an advisor who can provide custom reports that consolidate all of their estates' holdings.

It is not uncommon for investors to have three or more financial service providers managing their investment portfolio alone. Include additional service providers for banking, insurance, accounting, trust management, estate planning, and legal services, and it is obvious just how tough of a challenge it is for an investor to manage their wealth.

Dealing with this many service providers leads to more supervision by the investor, not less. Every month, the investor is being overwhelmed with stacks of complex, hard-to-read reports from their sundry of service providers. It is then left up to the investor to make sense of all the reports and determine if the investments are meeting their overall estate objectives. Without one easy-to-read report that consolidates all of their estate's assets, the investor's task of properly managing their estate is monumental.

To be a valuable tool, a proper consolidation report should provide an overall view of the entire estate. These reports should compare the overall performance with the formal estate plans to show the progress of the investments as they relate to the investor's financial and lifetime goals.

The consolidated report should clearly display the investment performance by asset class and individual holdings with comparisons to prior period, prior year, and appropriate benchmarks. A well-constructed report allows the client to drill down into each asset class or individual holding as desired, providing transparency into the estate.

Each investor is different, and so are their estate holdings. Canned reports no longer work. At Karmikel Investments, we provide our clients with customized, consolidated reports that display information in a manner that meets each client's need. Our reports give our clients adequate transparency into their estate assets, how each asset is performing (vs. prior period and benchmarks), and show the progress toward the investor's financial and lifetime goals.
